So Bored.

Hey guys. Sorry it's been so long since my last post, but...

Well, life has been incredibly dull lately.

I get up, wander around the house, see if Jared's here, then spend my day watching television, playing video games, or downloading stuff. That's...Pretty much what I've done since I left.

I had the house to myself here for Thanksgiving, spent most of that watching Dilbert and a marathon of ManTracker. Pretty much that weekend. Then I hung around with Jared for the rest of the week. Can't remember any specifics. I'm sure they were dull.

Then last weekend, Scott came down. And he finally had my birthday present that had been ordered a month before! The Zombies!!! board game. It's freakin' awesome. Combine that with Rick's birthday present of a zombie-Nate, and this is a pretty zombied apartment.

I'd find images of said zombie things, but I'm currently transferring Friday the 13th number seven onto our Netshare folder. Don't wanna lag the compy.

But the game is a tiled zombie survival game in which the town changes each time you play, based on which tiles you draw. Your objective? Kill twenty-five zombies or find the heli-pad and get the hell out of there.

Kill twenty-five zombies, you say? Not hard, you say? FOOLS! It's DAMN hard. We played for four or five fucking hours and I BARELY got over twenty-five, and we weren't even doing the zombie killing win rule, and I had an ungodly amount of ammunition. It's DAMN hard.

But yeah. Very fun game. I'll bring it next time I come to Rockwood, people would love it at youth group.

But I don't know what's up with YOU guys. My readers. My friends. The people I never see. For the love of God people, call my cell phone! I have unlimited minutes after six and my number is based in Guelph so it's not long distance for people to call. Tell me what you guys are up to! I'm bored as hell here.

Come on, people! Call me! The cell phone number's the same! 519 993-4935! Call!

Because honestly, otherwise there's not much to report about my life here. I've just summed up the past two weeks in five minutes. I'm so bored.

I am, however, going to apply for a job at The Source. Apparently they're kinda understaffed in Kitchener. So I stand a decent chance of getting in.

Aside from that, my life is FREAKISHLY dull. Please call and entertain me. Tell me what's happening with YOUR lives, which MUST be more interesting than mine.

And Ryan, we need to hang out soon. You'd love Zombies!!!. (Yes, the exclamation points are part of the name.)

I'll probably be back in Rockwood in a week or two.

BUT UNTIL THEN, I'LL BE BORED.

Gotta go now. Gonna watch Popular season two with Jared, maybe have some dinner, maybe play a game of Magic: The Gathering.

Until next time,
I might be coming off as desperate here, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CALL ME.

Yahoooooooooooooooo!

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while, but I've been busy. Been in Rockwood for the past week workin' with my dad, and before that I was lazing about in Kitchener, like a perfectly good drain on society.

I forget large portions of the past twoish weeks, so I'll give a brief recap.

Uhhhh...

Scott came to visit last weekend. Fun was had. Got into Magic cards. Turns out they're not that expensive, and quite fun to play, despite the game that lasted an hour and a half or so. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, I've been reading posts by one guy who described a half-hour game as horribly long for a game of Magic. Yeah. He beat me the first match, I've wiped the floor with his deck three times since, though mostly it was being used by Scott.

Uhhhh....

Heroes started. Quite exciting. Watched the first episode of season two with Jared and Girl-Jared, watched the second episode tonight in my room. 'twas good.

Ummmm.......

Youth group was fun, good to see people. Chris and Girl-Chris are still the two most boring people ever. If I had a large burlap sack and a river handy, I might consider drowning them in it as one would kittens (But I looooooooooooove kittens!), but alas, I don't want to waste a good sack on the likes of them.

I've been watching -a lot- of television. Via the internet. God I love the internet.

I've gone through two animes, a cartoon, and most of a show.

All twenty-six episodes of Trigun, which reminds me of the party Mitch had wherein we...Well, watched all twenty-six episodes of Trigun. We had a blast drinking caffeine and yelling "Cat!" whenever that little bastard feline appeared. He's in like every episode. Don't know why.

Ergo Proxy was good. Twenty-three episodes to that one. A bit weird, starts out as one type of story then goes somewhere COMPLETELY different. But good. I saw an ad for it at a store with somebody once. The name sounded cool. Ergo Proxy. Don't remember who I was with. But I saw it while I was looking for something else to watch, so...I watched it. The female lead character is an attractive goth type. And there are robots. If that doesn't draw you into the show, then you sir are a communist and should stop reading this blog and jump into a...gorge....filled with...rampaging...wildebeests or some such creatures. Yes.

Then I watched The Avengers: United They Stand off of TV Links. After seeing the two Avengers movies, let me tell you that this show sucked pretty hard. But it was a cartoon about superheroes, so I watched it. Although by the end of the series (it lasted all of one season), I simply had it playing in the background while I looked up ways to tweak Jared's Magic deck to make it less boring.

And in the past two days, I've watched season one of Eureka, and most of season two off of the Stage6 website. Great show.

I'm up to episode...ten in season two. There are three more episodes that have been aired (in the US, that is), that I haven't seen. And another one is being aired...tomorrow, if I'm not mistaken. It should be on-line by the week's end.

So yeah. That's what I'm spending my time doing. It's...Pretty dull, but I've little else to do.

Which brings me to a point of some sort.

This weekend, I'm either hanging out in Rockwood, or going back to Kitchener.

Should I choose to return to my new abode, I don't think Jared's going to be there. It's Thanksgiving and all, so I think he's coming back to Guelph to see his family/his girlfriend's family. Scott won't be down on his bi-weekly visit. And most of the rest of you probably have plans with your families. So if I return there, I'll be spending the weekend by myself with a bunch of video games, caffeine, and a computer that can run rudimentary games. (I also got the new Growlanser game that I've been aching to take for a test drive).

If I stay here, my parents are going away for the weekend (so by leaving I wouldn't miss much of "Thanksgiving"), and my brother would remain here. So if I stayed here, I'd be here with Ethan, no PS2, a Gamecube that I could probably hook up down here with no parents but have been otherwise incapable of hooking up to anything, a laptop that allows me to watch high quality television episodes off of the internet, and a video game I want desperately to play but can't.

But I will stay in town if I can work out definite plans with people. Not half-assed "let's hang out on Saturday" that inevitably turn into absolutely nothing where I end up sitting here watching television. But if people want to hang out with me this weekend and formulate coherent plans, I'd be willing to stay.

OR: A CRAZY THIRD OPTION.

With no Jared around, the house up there would get awfully boring. So if somebody wanted to come and stay for a couple days and blow off a pointless celebration that I don't understand us celebrating in Canada, then you could stay at my place up there! I've got cable, internet, and a lot of DVD's and video games!

But I gotta go sleep. I think my dad might plan on waking me up at a ridiculous time tomorrow. I have to be mentally prepared to flip him off and fall back asleep.

Until next time,
I will underestimate THE SHIT out of you!
