Finale

Hey kiddies.

I'm here again, Friday night/Saturday morning.

Few things to discuss.

For one, I now have a week off of work. Fuck yeah. That, plus six hundred bucks in my pocket, a cheque for another five hundred upstairs, and yet another due in next week, I'm pretty much set for the time being. Tomorrow is Christmas shopping day. And yeah, I'm aware that I've put it off pretty late, but meh.

I pretty much know what I'm getting...

My brother gets a new skateboard. It's what he wanted.

To the parents, a crappy DVD player. I don't need to get a great one, as they never really watch DVD's, but it'll stop them from using my damn PS2.

Eric gets the World of Warcraft Expansion pre-ordered. Pretty rad.

Rick gets some games. Not sure which yet. Battle for Middle Earth 2 or Rome: Total War. Maybe both if they're inexpensive.

Dave, if I can find it without spending too much cash, Dead Rising for his Xbox 360. 'cause zombies kick ass.

Don't know what to get Jared or James yet. *shrug* James can pretty much buy whatever he wants at this point now. But Jared...He never got back to me as to what he wants. Bastard. So I dunno what to get him. We'll see what I find tomorrow.

Christmas day is on Monday, and after that I'm pretty much free for the week. I plan on lots of socializing, video games, and maybe some writing. Or at least typing up some writing.

After the one-week break, I'm back to work full time on day shifts. Meaning I'll be getting up at five in the morning to head out for the day...Ugh. The first week I was on days, it was all ten-hour shifts. I'm hoping it'll be down to eights now, but I doubt it. So I'll just think of the money...The glorious money. The one days week I did got me six hundred bucks, so that's pretty damn good for one week.

...

Still don't have a Wii. But I've pretty much come to terms with that. I barely have time for video games anyway at the moment, so I'll concentrate on other things before I go after the Wii. Plus there's no way in hell I'ma find one in stores anyway.

I'm thinking the Nintendo DS Lite. Beautiful little machine, and it's portable, so I'll be able to bring it to work...The car ride gets boring, and this will also give me something to do on breaks. Day shifts tend to run on a break relief system. Nights, the whole line just goes down and we all go for break. It lets me have break with my friends, but break relief usually puts me on my own. Pretty boring. A DS would make it more entertaining.

So that's my plan, and my Christmas present to myself. Then within a couple weeks, I should be able to afford a new computer. A kickass computer. Then I'll probably pick up the Wii, and after that I start to save money. Well, most of my money. I'll need to buy some games from time to time. Games good.

Youth group was good tonight. We were supposed to have karaoke, but that kinda fell through so instead we just sat around playing Life. A damn fine game. I lost, but mostly because I kept giving Dave money. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not the best gaming strategy, but I had enough caffeine in me that it hardly mattered.

Nate sleep now, not sure when shop tomorrow.

Until next time,
He's betrayed you.

Under Your Spell

Hey there, folks.

Sorry my posts have been so dang infrequent, but the weekend is literally my only on-line time of the week. I get up 'round four, four-thirty in the afternoon, after going to bed just after eight in the morning. I generally get home with time enough to walk with Rick and/or Eric to the bus stop. Which is cool, 'cause I don't see 'em much...But yeah.

Work's goin' good. There's a new cute girl on the line. Janene, I believe her name is. Yeah, there's an e in there. Wacky. Cute, and friendly. I've been working on a different station than normal, which happens to be right next to hers. And let me tell you, she's a lot nicer to look at over the day than James. Take that however you want to, James.

But yeah...Other than work, my life is sleep and video games. Except on Thursday. On Thursday, we had the parade of lights in Rockwood. It was the same as it always is. Farmers driving down the street with their farm equipment all covered in flashy lights. *sigh* Why are all of Rockwood's festivities started by drunk farmers? Ah well. It was entertaining enough. The streets were lined with people that wanted to see it. Rick and I watched it from my bedroom window, 'cause outside is where fresh air and cold live. My family always has a party on the eve of the parade, so it was cool. To me, it basically meant a lot of food, and entertaining some younger kids. Then I had to go to work. I got lucky, and it was an eight-hour shift rather than a ten, so I didn't have to leave until nine-thirty, as opposed to seven-thirty. 'cause the parade was still going on at that point, and it would have been impossible to get through it. So yeah...

That's essentially my week. Well, that and youth group, which was good. Well, pretty good. Better than sitting around at home and doing nothing. But at this point, Dave pretty much spends the entire evening hanging with Rebecca, Eric does his music thing with whatever loud Christian music happens to be playing at the time, and Rick's usually sittin' around the kitchen as well. But yeah.

So I guess I'll see how my weekend starts, and maybe check back in tomorrow night if anything interesting happens.

Until next time,
Standing by the door, staring into the night, I realized something. I no longer remember what it was, but it seemed quite relevant at the time.

Todd The T1000

Hey hey.

So, today I crawled out of bed around...Four thirty in the afternoon, and lo and behold, my cheque was in! Huzzah. For my first week of work, just under six hundred dollars. I was pleased. Not as pleased when I learned that the government had taken one hundred and thirty-six of my dollars. I would have had over seven hundred! Damn you, The Government!

We'll see how much money you take when you've collapsed and I'm living in a bunker filled with guns and break dancing robots. Oh-ho-ho, how they will break dance. 'twill be glorious.

So, I went out driving with Jared, Girl-Jared, and Rick tonight. It was fun. I was wired as hell to start, and Rick was absolutely hilarious. And there was hands-guy. Err...That sounds weird. Allow me to explain...

So we were driving down one particularly large street. Large enough to warrant a lane to the right of ours, allowing me to look out the window and view passing traffic, 'cause it was entertaining. We passed one vehicle. A van, I think. I had my face very close to the window, and the driver apparently noticed me watching him. We passed him, and moved on ahead, but the van soon caught up with us. And when he did, he removed both hands from the steering wheel and placed them on either side of his head while grinning at me. Then, about a minute later, after we'd moved away from each other and come back again, he removed his hands again, and moved them on either side of the steering wheel in a mock-running motion. Oh man, it was funny. I was laughing until my sides hurt...Some of the others missed it, so I had to relate the hilarity to them. Then I said that I would surely blog it. And I did. Good times.

We drove around for hours and hours. It was good.

But I think I'ma sleep now, so I can hang with Rick tomorrow. Watch some Bleach. Maybe some Naruto. It should be fun.

Until next time,
My life will be complete the day I get my own Wikipedia entry.

Oh Friends

Hey hey, kids.

And yes, I'm aware that it's been a week since I last posted. Bite me, I've been busy.

And the job has been...Essentially exactly the same. Except the other day, I cut myself working with some metal, and last night I was working at Jason's station instead of mine. I prefer mine, there's a lot less to do. And dammit, I like it when I sit around and have to do very little. It's much more relaxing.

But yeah. Aside from that, I've had...Nothing to do. At all. My free time is spent either sleeping or playing Call of Duty 2, which my brother got from somebody somewhere. I dunno, it's fun. I'm a pretty good shot. But in the levels I've been playing now, they just keep giving me machine guns...Fuck machine guns, man. Fuck 'em. Gimme a rifle any day...Headshots for all. One shot, one kill. That's how it should be. And I am the king of headshots in this game. Aim with the rifle, fire one off, and bam, dead Nazi. Two shots, max. Unless they start pelting me with bullets, and throw my aim off...Jerks.

I think I'm just about finished the game, so when that's done I'll move back to Breath of Fire 3.

I haven't been paid yet...Just finished my third week, and I still haven't gotten a penny. That's a bit weird, huh? I should have been paid by now...I called the guy, and he's gonna see where my cheque is. So yeah...When I get paid, Wii, then new computer, then probably some stuff from ThinkGeek. I was looking at this one bag...Bag of Holding. It's awesome. I want it. I figured I might also buy some D&D stuff, maybe some t-shirts, probably some new pants. We'll see how it goes. Any other money gets saved away for when I move out and go off to college. Yeah.

That's my big plan...

So for now, I've got my weekend ahead of me, and then as of next weekend, I'm working Friday night too...Totaling six days a week. Blegh. But ah well, the job could be worse. So yeah. I'll be missing most of youth group for a couple of weeks, and then I'm getting moved again I believe...Either days or afternoons. Days, I'd be tired as hell at youth group, and afternoons, I'll actually be working during youth group...So either way, youth group = not so much. Which is my only real social event of the week, so yeah...

If I were a Sim, I don't think I'd have much of a social skill going on right now. Yeah...

And that about sums up the week's events.

Oh, and I got to hang out with Jared, Eric, Jared's lady-friend, and Mark last Saturday night. We drove around. Accidentally went to Milton. Got some McDonald's. 'twas fun.

Yeah. NOW everything I did over the week is here. Work, sleep, video games. I'll be glad when we're done enough of these damn frames to go back to eight-hour shifts...We've been on tens since the second day of work this week. Which sucks, but...More money, so I can't really complain. But yeah.

For now, I'm gonna go watch the musical episode of Buffy on YouTube, because my life is just that pathetic.

Until Next Time,
Look! I capitalized the N and the T there! It's different! It's bold!

My Monkey

Howdy.

Well, my weekend has officially begun...No work until Friday night. Woo! I get to sleep, and play video games, and...Yeah, that's about all I'll be doing. *shrug*

Youth group was good tonight, aside from the usual idiocies of the smaller ones. Tony in particular has been getting on my nerves lately. Last week he scolded me for being "disrespectful", this week he was just being an idiot. I know I'm supposed to be a leader there, but it's a little hard to be respectful to some of these kids when they're constantly insulting me. Tony should consider himself lucky that I am a leader, otherwise I'd kick his ass. *shakes fist*

Apparently he's also been flirting with all of Eric's friends at school, and making fun of Andrew because he works at Tim Horton's and doesn't make much money. Little bastard.

He also said something tonight that quite angered Dave, but I didn't catch exactly what it was. Yeah.

We were at Tim Horton's until after midnight, too. Which I was fine with. I like hanging out with people. Plus I gotta stay up late tonight so I can jump right back into night shift when the weekend's over. Tomorrow's gonna be a late night, too. Yep.

Uhhh...Yeah. I'm not really sure what else I have to talk about. Work, youth group...Don't really do much else.

I'm gonna wander the internet for a while longer.

Until next time,
Doesn't mean my monkey doesn't love you...
